• Future use of the Church Commissioners' funds
  Synod received this consultation report on the future use of the Commissioners' funds (the 'Spending Review') in February 2004. The report proposed restructuring some of their commitments to release more funds for ministry in areas of need. In response Synod asked for further work to explore practical and realistic options. Working groups on Resourcing Mission and Transparency and Accountability in the use of church resources have taken this forward.

• Mission development funding

A short illustrated leaflet showing mission fund projects in the first triennium was published in 2006.
