Subordinate legislation

Legislative provisions of Church of England Measures (primary legislation) may in certain cases be carried into effect through subordinate legislation in the form of Statutory Instruments. Following approval by the General Synod, such Statutory Instruments are laid before both Houses of Parliament and are subject to annulment by a resolution of either House. Below is a list of Statutory Instruments relating to the Church of England which are currently in force or waiting to come into force.
