What happens if I move?

Moving within the UK

If you are moving house without changing your appointment, please let us know, in writing, the date of your move and your new address and telephone number.

If you are changing appointments, please ensure your diocesan office is aware of the change. Each diocese administers a scheme for removal and resettlement grants. These are payable each time you take up a new appointment, and details are available from the appropriate diocesan office.

Moving abroad

If you are going abroad temporarily, please tell us as soon as possible beforehand so that we can give you up to date advice on taxation, national insurance, tax-free allowances, etc.
