Vocations Sunday 2006

There will be a focus on the vocation to teach with some material encouraging people to think about teaching as a career path. The material will be of interest to those exploring such a vocation for themselves as well as to those who may wish to promote it to others. For Example:

There will be a focus on encouraging young vocations to ordained ministry from those under 30. This is an area which has received considerable publicity over the last year and has been identified as a priority by the Archbishop of Canterbury. There are a number of articles written by young ordinands (My Vocational Journey by Susannah Green), which can be used in talks or sermons or could be printed off and given to young people thinking about ordinantion (Sermon for Vocations Sunday by Ben Green) and (Called and Chosen by God for the Church by Graham Hunter).
