AMENDING CANON NO 27 - Canon for promulgation

Amending Canon No 27 (Dioceses, Pastoral and Mission Measure 2007) was promulged and executed.

 

VACANCY IN SEE COMMITTEES REGULATION 1993

The Vacancy in See Committees Regulation 1993, as amended by the Vacancy in See Committees (Amendment) Regulation 2003 and as to be amended by the Vacancy in See Committees (Amendment) Regulation 2007, was solemnly affirmed and proclaimed an Act of Synod.

DRAFT CHURCH OF ENGLAND PENSIONS (AMENDMENT) MEASURE

The Church of England Pensions (Amendment) Measure was passed to revision committee.

The Code of Practice was approved, following one amendment.

DRAFT ECCLESITASTICAL OFFICES (TERMS OF SERVICE) REGULATIONS

DRAFT AMENDING CANON NO 29

 

Synod voted to take note of the Report of the Revision Committee; it then proceeded to debate the Measure. Following a number of amendments (debate continued after the lunch break), the Measure was committed for final drafting.
