Daily Prayer

One of the glories of the Church of England is its worship. The word 'liturgy' describes the patterns, forms and words through which public worship is conducted.

The services of Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Night Prayer for today, tomorrow and yesterday are available on this site to help you find time for God during your day.

If you decide to print off any of the material, please read the copyright information first.

There are currently two collections of services authorized for use in the Church of England: The Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship: Services and Prayers for the Church of England. For each collection, Morning, Evening and Night Prayer are provided.

Times and dates change according to Greenwich Mean Time. As a result, we have provided services for yesterday, today and tomorrow (according to GMT) to account for different timezones around the world.

Make your choice of service and then scroll down through the service, reading both the minister's part and the responses at your own pace.
