Braille editions of Common Worship

Church House Publishing have been working with the Royal National Institute for the Blind to create Braille editions of all of the Common Worship material that was published in November 2000. Currently, the contents of the main volume are available. Pastoral Services and other volumes will follow in due course.

Q. Is the material available as a single book?
A. There is too much material in Common Worship to create one book. It would be so large and heavy that it would be unusable, and in fact the Braille itself would be flattened. As a result, the material has been divided up into sensible sections. The Braille edition of the main volume consists of 19 parts available separately or as a set.

Q. How much are the Braille editions?
A. The contents of the main volume are available to registered Braille users, or those purchasing on behalf of a registered Braille user, at the subsidized price of £19.00 for the complete set of 19 parts, or £1.00 per separate part.

Q. Do I need to purchase all the parts?
A. That depends on your circumstances. If you are a clergyperson, you may well need all 19 parts so that you have all the material to hand. If you are a lay person you may only need one or two parts to cover the major services that are used in your church.

Q. Where can I buy the Braille editions?
